Queen Anne Baptist Church first came into being in 1890 when families from Seattle First Baptist Church began a new church in North Seattle. In 1920, the church moved to Queen Anne Hill and in 1921 changed its name to Queen Anne Baptist Church to reflect the new location. The historic building at 1st Ave N and Crockett began construction in 1924, and in 1925 the building was dedicated and has been in use ever since.
