Outreach Ministries
Throughout the year, our church takes part in various outreach projects, and if you would like to take part in any way, you are more than welcome.
1. Operation Christmas Child, a ministry of Samaritan's Purse. Every Fall, we gather small gifts and fill shoeboxes, which are giftwrapped and sent to needy children around the world. Last year, one woman from our church got excited and involved her fellow residents at Queen Anne Manor, and they are off to a start this year, too. With their help, we sent 93 gift-wrapped shoeboxes last year, and we expect to have more this year. It’s a fun project that can make a huge difference for an extremely poor child.

3. Queen Anne Helpline. We support Queen Anne Helpline with a special offering at least once a year. In addition, we are currently collecting school supplies for needy kids.
4. Mary Magdalene Shelter for Homeless Women – Giving tree in December to provide shoe vouchers, so needy women can purchase their own new shoes.
5. Northwest Harvest: We collect non-perishable food, and periodically we take it to Northwest Harvest. Northwest Harvest distributes the food to food banks throughout the area.
